About

We are a  Track Cycling Club formed in 2008 and based around Eamonn Ceannt Cycling Stadium in Sundrive Park, Dublin 12. Our activivties are based on our 460m outdoor banked track. We ride fixed wheel - no brake bikes as is the case with track cycling. We have a stock of bikes avaialble for hire for those who wish to learn how to ride this type of bike and our excellent coaches will soon have you riding  safely and competently.

Although our interest is primarily Track,  our members also race Road, MTB and Triathlon and as seen below during the winter months we encourage our riders to take 'advantage' of the bad weather and partake in the CycloX season. We formed primarily to cater for the youth of the area as we could see that riders travelled from all over Dublin and further afield to race at Sundrive but there were very few locals using the facility. We feel we have started to redress this imbalance and we currently stand at nearly 50 members (and still growing!). The Club has attracted a wealth of experienced track riders to ride under its colours and this will help greatly develop the young talent that has joined.  Currently over half of our riders are U12/U14 and all locals and we hope to increase this number for 2010

We would like to acknowledge the support of Cycling Ireland in their support in helping get this club off the ground and the Irish Veteran Cyclist Association for their support of the youth portion of our club. Their support has hleped us increase the fleet of track bikes available and supply a kit to our young riders for a nominal fee
